I think we should get a petition together or at least add our names and addresses to a letter. Either they rectify it (like how are they going to do that unless they quickly remanufacture and replace) or provide a full refund to cover the box and associated required parts.

Now I can't leave my valuables in it when stopping off on the way to the ferry next week let alone on the ferry! Bustards!!

I wonder if the Sprint 1050 guys know about this?  I would guess it's the same locking mechanism on those cases.   :045:

I thought you had to turn the key to open them?  The video is just showing the handles being opened....  Were you guys able to open the cases completely w/o a key?

Its not just the luggage.............my bike was stolen in seconds by a 15 year old. i won't say how it was done, but the ignition lock was not damaged, the steering lock was on too..........it was all done electrically with seconds

Rincewind - once the handle is up, you can push the locking lever to the right with your finger!
