Hi Barney.. if you go to this section   https://www.tiger1050.com/index.php/topic,23178.0.html
Down at the bottom, look for this.   Member modifications Post a link of all your mod's

Check it out.

If your saying it's hard, then either you weigh 125 pounds or the suspension has been tweaked already.

Indy, I wonder if by "hard" he means "harsh" or some such.  My front suspension dove a lot and had all the symptoms of being undersprung, but still hit me hard over sharp edged bumps.  I changed fork oil weight and got it good enough for me.  Springs might be correct, but the ride quality can still be poor.  Thoughts?  Maybe OP can give some more detail as well on what exactly is not working.  My 2 cents. It's worth both pennies :).

Just finished installing a Zumo XT on my Sport with the lockable Touratech mount because I had some "experience" with the fragile standard Garmin mounts (my brand new Zumo 396 popped loose on a rough single lane road in Wales and landed in a pool of water.... it survided but still).
Like most stuff from DEU the Touratech mount is well engineered, large and plain ugly  :164:

Wow, that brings back memory's.   My first new bike I bought in Denver whilst in the military, first bike was a KZ650 custom.  Looked at the 900 and 1000's  on the floor, being my first bike didn't want one that big. Didn't take long and wish I had.
Loved the looks of that era of design.

Enjoy, looks like a blast.
Thanks for comments , I'm looking forward to the warmer weather when I can really have some fun on it .

Could someone confirm it really is a 22mm tool I need?
TIA
I use one like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Motorcycle-Spindle-Black-Front-Wheel/dp/B093GKQ232
Probably not the exact same one but it does the job

The Motech City bag looks like a good size and fit, and I like the mounting system.  Thanks for the input.

Hi Everyone, I'm a new member called Allan (Bugslayer) living on the Isle of Man.  I bought a 2019 Tiger Sport 1050 in 2020 for sport touring around the British Isles and possibly further afield but that was right before the pandemic so I haven't been further than the other end of the Isle of Man yet!

This year has been my 56th of riding motorbikes, so I'm definitely in the vintage category. I do however, also own a 2018 765 Street Triple RS which is used for track days only so I'm not dead yet.  These are a couple of pictures of my bikes.

The 1050 at Ballaugh Bridge on the TT course.

On the mountain, looking back towards Ramsey

Me on the 765RS at Harris Hill raceway in Texas where the bike is currently stranded. Its been modified quite a bit since then to better suit it to track riding so doesn't look quite the same.
