    I'm thinking I need to reduce my rebound by a fair bit.

    Lip on the trailing edge is quite high.

    Possibly, but from what Ive read and learnt from Dave Mosses tutorials, the high trailing edge is a sign of excessive rebound

    thanks, yep I was happy with that, considering I don't baby em.

    I had a chat with my suspension guy yesterday and he says the Road 5/6's exaggerate the condition. he seems to think it do to the large sipes. Anyway he confirmed my diagnosis and suggested slowing the rebound a few clicks.

    That wear is also caused by underinflation, apparently. I had it on the front and that was my issue.

    Interesting,  I run 38psi solo, 40ish for a loaded multi day ride.
    I've always gone by the 3- 4 psi rule.
