    fork stem substitution

Hi everyone, my Tiger is leaking oil from the right stem. She lost it 2 months ago and I changed oil seals and dust seals, but after 2 months the problem returned. When I disassembled the forks I saw that the conditions were not very good, but I tried the repair anyway. Now I think I'll have to replace the stems. Can you tell me a web shop where they have good spare parts at a reasonable price? Thank you

It's best to get the tubes re-chromed.  Search in your area for a workshop that does hard chroming of motorcycle forks.  The bracket that holds the calipers will unscrew from the tube when you apply some heat to it thereby loosening the Loctite.

If you are looking for new chrome tubes, TNK Motors in Italy sells replacements for the Tiger. Race Tech sells them in the US for $230US per side, Triumph want about $450US per side but that includes the lower caliper/axle bracket too.
