Not sure about the OP's 2013 model, but a lot of Triumphs since around 2012 don't use flasher relays because the indicators are controlled directly from the instruments.

Ah maybe my mistake sorry I am used to 20 year old bikes last one being a 2003 gsx1400

Thanks for your comments all and indeed, the reason I went for individual resistors and did not change the flasher unit is because on the 13 tiger they are controlled from the main “computer”, or so I was told?

    Thanks for you reply T800X.
In fact I have tried the resistors both in series and in parallel and in both cases the flashing rate is perfect when I try them with the ignition on, but as soon as I start the motor they stop working. Any ideas why this might be?

Did you fit them to all 4 indicators at the same time?

If that doesn't work, try connecting all 4 resistors in parallel to just one side. That would be an effective value of 15 ohns which may help to identify what value you really need.

Did the LEDs come with any electrical spec?

I'll try that but I've just realised that I stupidly launched this "help" request just before I'm heading off on holidays,  so will not be able to try any more of your fine suggestions for a few weeks.
But please, if anybody else has any ideas then I'm a grateful recipient!
