Oxford Heated Grips Throttle tube

Hi Guys,

Looking for some advice, I have started to install Oxford touring hot grips and removed the throttle assembly.. having stripped the old OEM wiring loom from the grip i have noticed that the grip does not have ribs, but are patterned and cut to allow the wire that heats up to be sat in them. I have tried sanding, but it will not fit inside the Oxfords.

Has anyone come across this and know of a work around?

I have been looking for a new Throttle Tube but they are like rocking horse

I am a bit confused, are you looking for a Triumph stock non heated grip throttle tube ???

Hi, yes I think that’s what is required as I can’t see the  triumph heated throttle tube being sanded to fit the oxfords over.

Slightly different but out of interest I have fitted Oxford grips to my 2018 Tiger.

It did involve a LOT of filing and sanding but well worth the effort.

I always eschewed heated grips for may years but having now felt the benefits I wouldn't be without.

The Oxfords work well
