hi all,

been reading through the forum for the last week or so getting a feel for it, i have a 2014 1050 sport arriving this weekend ( i initially was looking at the earlier models with the standard swing arm ) but the upgrades people have mentioned on the newer sport version have convinced me to spend a little extra and go for that
bike is diablo red with factory side panniers but as yet no center mount for the middle box, i have read the tips on where to obtain the brackets etc so will no doubt be revisiting those posts this summer and looking to add that middle box.
   i am however looking for a pair of handguards sooner than the box any suggestions throw my way or if anyone has upgraded changed i could be interested in the old ones,
a few more points to note on the incoming bike , not sure if any of you know the bike? its on a private plate and has the tail tidy already fitted along with arrow can and shod in the rosso rubber , also some one has fitted colour coded center wavy discs and all important center stand ,    ill post a pic when i figure out how ,

also im in south wales uk not a million miles from the beacons so have some decent scratch roads im also 15 miles or so from the coast so first few rides already planned ;)  ive been riding about 15 years and a variety of style bikes from choppers, rice rockets trikes enduro and super moto type, not tried the adventure sport bike yet so this is an interesting owner ship for me for a few reasons. ill sign off for now before i bore you all any more ,

 yes a lovely area st Athen, currently home to Aston martin manufacturing now so not so many green jump suits as once was, i would imagine you would have had a spin around the airfield loop on two wheels at some point too maybe ? and if you married a welsh lady you cant be bad haha thanks for saying Hi

Back then, perry track was speed restricted and patrolled, think the only time I used it was my first posting from the training side to the permanent side,
