Let me introduce myself as another new member to this community.

I have been riding, servicing and repairing motorbikes since 1987.
I started with a Honda CBR 400 RR, which after a crash, was replaced by a Laverda 750 sport.
After riding the Laverda for over 20 years through the Netherlands, Germany, France, England and Scotland, I now bought myself also a 2007 Tiger 1050 ABS with less than 22K on the clock.
Story goes that I'm getting older and the riding position on the Laveda is not that comfortable anymore for the longer journeys.
I did ride a 2007 Tiger 1050 ABS in the past for almost 5 years, bike was owned and paid for by my employer :062:: and did almost 50.000 km, every day to work and back again, during summer- and winter time (+30 and -10 C) where I also took it to the Black Forest and France for some summer trips.
That bike has never failed me and that was the main reason for buying the same type of Tiger again; but unfortunattely, this bike is not the same, and it already gave me a few starting problems which led me to this forum.

My experience with the Laverda has tought me how to repair and service my bike and I would like to do the same with the Tiger; starting by trying to find out the starting problem issue.

I hope that I can also contribute in the future to solve other issues that will come along.
