I'm looking for internal type TPMS ,with right angle valve stems.
I've tried Flea-bay and Amazon (Aust) but found nothing yet.
Anyone seen one while online browsing or better still actually fitted one ?

I currently have the normal valve cap type, but over the whole deal with removing the sensors to add air etc

I realize I could go oem, but I doubt any dealers would still have stock and aftermarket is probably a cheaper option.

New TPMS sensors are still available from Triumph and should be compatible with your bike. There have been at least 3 versions of these sensors over the years. The original ones could easily be taken apart and new batteries fitted when required. The next generation had potted electronics so it was much harder to change the batteries, but they lasted longer which helped a little. The latest generation sensors can be seen in my notes on the Trophy forum at the following link:-

In addition, I did some work last year to find a fully working internal alternative to the Triumph OEM sensors and found just one option that worked. You can read my notes at the Explorer / 1200 forum here...

    Hope that helps.

excellent information, I need to read it again the fully absorb it.

With the OEM sensors, can I activate them and the ecu with TuneECU ?
I do recall seeing a checkbox, is it as easy as just ticking the box

I think the Android version of TuneECU can do this, but I don't have it and I've not tried.

My free TigerTool software can definitely do this.

There are a couple of settings to change and you have to program the sensor IDs into the immobiliser, but it's all pretty simple stuff.
