    You must live in a cold place.  In warmer climes, the Road 3 was an absolute disaster.  That's why it was superceded by the Road 4 so quickly, it was a matter of months here in Oz.

    Personally, I'm still using Road 2 and yes they are still available. Maybe not as good in the wet as the 4 but heaps more grip on hot Ozzy roads.

    I had original Road Attacks on my 04 Blackbird, probably not as good as the RA4s, but heaps better than the Dunlop D205' it came with

    Why a disaster? Too soft a compound?

    They do seem softer than everything I have had over the years BUT they stick like glue to poo so I am not complaining.  :002:

    Yes, when the tyre got hot the blocks would "walk" causing severe steering imprecision on the front and bum-puckering weaving on the rear.  The 4 was much better (I've got 4s on my MT07) but still not a patch on the 2s.
