I just wanted to come on here and thank everyone for the kind words and thoughts. My dad was Indytiger1050. He gave his bike to my husband a few years back when it became harder for him to ride. If you got to meet my dad in person you know how big of a heart he had, and it sounds/looks like his knowledge is all over this forum. My husband and I are in NC and much like my parents, y’all are always welcomed to visit.

I will say, that I saw his last post on 2/5. What you may not know is he was on a significant amount of pain meds and I am amazed at his ability to write what he did. He passed peacefully on the early morning of the 7th.

If you could take anything from my dad, is don’t wait to do something, live like today is your last and as his favorite poster in his room said… “life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well preserved body but rather to skid in sideways, totally wore out shouting… holy sh#t what a ride.”

I can post the link to the service we had for him if anyone would like to watch it.

My husband is in this forum somewhere and we will stay active as much as we can. Thank you all again, This forum was a huge part of my dads daily life. He could always be found in his room on the computer.

Thank you so much for sharing your Dad with us all through the years. He and I corresponded outside the forum, and I came to realize that he was a talented and resourceful fellow with a broad streak of humanity. He put in a few more laps than he expected to do, which testifies to his passion for life. His presence here is permanent and his legacy solid. I wish your family good fortune and will take to heart the advice Mark passed on to us.

    Fondest regards, Ted

I've not been on here all that often but remember his posts as informative and friendly. I'm sure many of you miss him and I send my condolences.
I never touched it, you can't blame me, it went off when I was cleaning it.

Sold my 1050 a while ago but still drop in from time to time to catch up.  Very sorry to see the passing of IndyTiger1050.  He was a special guy, I am honored to have known him, if only on-line.  :169:

Hey Laura, sorry for your sad loss.

Exchanged many messages with Mark over the years who was a fine fellow indeed.

He posted up a few pictures from track days and meet ups over the years.

Hopefully the search function will help you to find these.

Very best wishes to you and yours for the Easter break  :028:
