    QUOTE
Just wanted anyone who have pictures from members hosted on PhotoBucket they get them off now. If you have problems pulling some of mine I will try, as of now it's being allowed.

Also any other materials or information now is the time including parts. (have about 50 cluster  switch's left and 3 very low mileage next to perfect headers.

Two things pass no one I'm no exception, the taxes won't be that big a deal the other beyond me.    Have enjoyed the form for a long time, will check in once  in a while, trying to enjoy  family and  suggest you do also.

To Paul, you gave me a gift that was priceless and would love to reach out one last time to say thanks.

Thanks for the posts everyone puts up, only reason to be here.   Admin, I do check in and will be privileged to continue helping if you desire.

Life's too short, don't wait until it's to late.

    Mark

Hope you have have a blessed and safe year, God willing I'll hear or see you in the future.

    ...

Tell the man how much he has meant to the forum. Tell him how much he has meant to you. Doesn't matter that you never met in person. I'm willing to bet that if you've been on here very long, he's helped you.  Do you run his tune?  Suspension set up?   Got something made into a sticky?   We know how many posts he has ..... any idea how much of his own time he has donated to this site?   I couldnt begin to tally it up.

Tell  him Thank you.  Bury his ass in PM's or say it here. But do it soon.

    God be with you Mark.

Saw somewhere else refer to IndyTiger in the past tense so did a little search and see this tribute post. Glad to see he is voluntarily pulling back from the forum and not buried as I first surmised by the tone of that other thread.

I have definitely benefited from Mark's kindness and knowledge through the years. He is a great guy and deserves much more praise than is available here. THANK YOU INDY!! :152:

Hey chaps. We have a number of new members and of course hordes of stalwart old members so, in tribute to Indy (Sir Supreme Mark Bowers), who was always a giver and a very fair moderator, I thought I'd reprise an old idea. I have a tub full of parts and accessories in mint condition that are serving no purpose. Levers, mirrors, indicators, an immaculate OEM shock, hand guards, etc. We once had a fun time auctioning off this kind of kit and paying the proceeds to the forum. The seller just recovers shipping, and the actual sale price goes to the forum to keep it viable. The buyer is only charged shipping and donates the purchase price to the forum. Yeah, it's cumbersome but it'll spur some action on the site and generate income, hopefully. I think I ended up shipping some red Pazzo levers to Oz the last time we did this.

Just thinking aloud, and hoping for your thoughts, I imagine posting (advertising) the goodies for sale, getting some bids, making the sale (well below Flea Bay prices), and then sending them off and Admin confirming receipt of the donation. Should be a good bit of fun for all. If this gets support, I'll kick it off in the For Sale section with an appropriate topic description and we can have at it. Quo Vadis?

PS: Take the time to look at the way to add pics directly to posts. It's really easy. Pics just need to be sized correctly which is not hard. No need to go through the gallery.

PPS: This way, we move desirable goods around between us, AND support our cause. One day, Jay Leno will call us and look for a part!

I wasn't around for the first auction, but this sounds like a great way to support the forum in Mark's memory.  He was a great help to people here, and also a very nice guy ... it wasn't long after I joined here that he commented on some post I made and invited me to stop by and visit any time I was in the area.  Sadly, I never made it happen.

I'd be happy to support this by offering up everything I have left from my Tiger, which is currently listed in a for sale post here in the forum.  This includes a factory service manual, a Clymer's service manual, and a set of nice OEM Triumph pannier bags/liners.  Also a well used tank bag that I am nostalgic about but understand if nobody else would want  :038:.

I will cancel my listing and move my stuff to your post.  Thanks for proposing this ZT!!  Should be fun!

If I was around for the first auction, I don't remember it. I like the idea, and I've got a few things to donate. However, I have previously posted them on here and not received any interest. Regardless, it is easy enough to post them again. I'll have to go through my pile of stuff when I get home tonight. Is there a thread already in the for sale forum that I missed? Apparently I'm terrible at finding stuff on here. Link please?

I bought stuff on the last go-around that I would never have bought normally. But, since it was for a good cause, it generated interest as a form of donation. I also need to dig, get some pics and post. I can't remember who kicked it off last time as it's a while back. As usual, shipping is the biggest issue and a bit of a pain.
