OK guys, I'm in a pickle..again...  Washer placement when reattaching the banjo bolts. Does a washer need to go between the banjo and the actual caliper?
RH = bolt washer banjo caliper
LH = bolt washer banjo washer banjo caliper
Have 4 silver washers off the bike , and 4 copper in the rebuild kit but have only used 3!

Well, I found the 5th washer off the bike. So I used the copper one and reused one from the bike. So between the caliper and the banjo now lives a washer   Got it done without loosing all the fluid, keeping the oil way in the reservoir covered so no rebleeding. Had a laugh, it’s a fine line between learning stuff and feeling like dck
    Head! :001:
    Cheers again Paul

mustangpilot,  thanks for that link.  I looked at a number of bike shops but their diagrams were no good, that one is great.
    Thanks

Just checked what I did - yes you do.  Every part needs a washer between it and the next.  I reused a silver one and haven’t died yet though.

I think the presumption is only one banjo per caliper, as if the lines were split higher up.

Well that’s weird.  I got an email at 6.15pm to say there was an update to this thread, opened it and got to fireypete’s post.  Now I look an hour later and find his post was actually 2-3 days ago, and had already been answered.  :-/
