    Ooh that's much neater than my plastic monstrosity. Am I right in thinking the plate (SRA6403) is the only thing I would need to change?

    Would be really cool if someone did something like this. Now that I am not doing all the commuting my bikes mostly have the top box off - this still looks good and is a really useful general purpose rack

    If you currently have sr6403 then SRA6403 is a straight swap.

    Great- will get one ordered.
    That bike is the 1290 Super Adventure. The rack is bike specific made by a small(ish) engineering shop in Belgrade. The owner has a few KTMs of his own and makes some really cool stuff for them. This particular rack is "universal", but pre-drilled for Givi, SW Motech and Rotopack mounts as well as Kriega OS-rack loops. It sits lower than the OE rack which only supports the OE top box and IMHO looks better. You can drop it even lower if you sacrifice the grab rails. Tried that but put them back as that made it really hard to use the centre stand.
