    Best/correct/ reasonably priced replacement battery

    My 2014 Tiger Sport broke down today.  Stopped for a comfort break and bike wouldn't start. Dead, and I mean dead battery. Not sure how old battery is. Its a  Shido lithium ion battery.  My mate came to rescue lending me a spare battery.  Couldn't believe how light and small the Shido was compared to spare loaned to me. Looks like the Shido is a very light (poss mickey-mouse) using studded 'packing peices' to stop it rattling around in the OEM battery box.  The loaned batt is quite heavy and fits tge battery box perfectly.  I'm thinking of fitting a new one of same type  . Any thoughts and reccomendations?. Cheers guys

    WoW - I've not heard of Lithium battery failures in Tiger' s before.

    The Yuasa YTZ14S is the ideal replacement for the MKI Tiger. I'm not sure if your Sport has the same sized or a larger bay?

    Yuasa YTX14H-BS is best conventional battery for the Sport.  Check you get 14/15v at battery with engine running.  If the RR fails it can give more volts then the Li Ion can handle and will kill it IIRC.
    I've read;
    "lithium batteries have a maximum voltage limit of 14.6V, above which damage can begin to occur."

    If it is the battery surprisingly Halfords come up with the best price on the Yuasa;

    https://www.halfords.com/motoring/motorcycling/motorcycle-batteries/yuasa-ytx14h-bs-12v-high-performance-maintenance-free-vrla-battery-239829.html

    79 for the higher powered YTX14H-BS and they even have one in stock in my local so you may be in luck.

    There are also a lot of 10% vouchers knocking around for Halfords if you do some research

    TDM 900 (Commuting duties) and a 2018 Tiger Sport.  Orange Tiger 1050  - gone but not forgotten.........also in the past a 900 Sprint and 955 Tiger. Just added an XJR1300 to the stable............
