There's White Tigers in Crete

While on holiday in Crete this past week I saw a 2012 white tiger parked by the harbour in Agios Nicholaos.
About 20 mins later i met the owner in another side street. I spoke to him about his bike and he said he had owned it 4 years and it was the best bike he had owned.
I told him about the forum and he said he would look us up

Hi Tigermike
Did you rent a motorbike while in Crete?
Just prior to enlisting to the IDF, age 18 (i’m now 56) a friend and myself sailed from Haifa to Crete
We hired, 2 Brand new Yamaha XT250 and had an amazing week!
We then sailed to Cyprus and hired 2 Suzuki 750 katanas and had another great week!
It’s a beautiful little island as I recall

No, unfortunately not as i was was with my family, yes its a beautiful island.
There are mostly mopeds and scooters on the island but i did see quite s few other bikes, honda transalps and africa twins etc. You definitely need a middle weight adventure bike for a lot of the roads.
Ref Cyprus, i learned to ride there, i had a suzuki moped when i was 16 and then a DT125 yamaha for a short period before we went back to the UK. Roads are much better too.
