Just bit the bullet and made purchase of

FIVE HG-1 heated gloves for cold winter riding

They are the most protective and insulated gloves, I have ever owned 

Rechargeable lithium battery in each glove

3 settings, with easy to press, illuminated  button on the Outside cuff of the glove.

Not cheap at $360 aud

(I normally take a XL but needed XXL which is a tight fit…. XXXL is available if needed)
