Hi Folks,

Newly joined this group as I await the delivery of a new to me Tiger 1050.  My last bike was a lovely 955i that I was sort of forced to sell after an extended period of ill health.

Been riding since I was a lad and have had a host of bikes over the years.  The sight of me on a Lambretta in the 70's was hilarious 6'5" and 17 stone - the thing could barely get up a hill... Done a fair bit of touring, but mostly used bikes to get around cities and daily riding.  Loved my last Tiger and it was easy peasy to choose another one when deciding to return to the saddle.  Actually my wife insisted I get another bike as she felt I had lost a part of myself when I lost the ability to ride.

Anyhoo things are looking up now and I am sooo looking forward to some slightly warmer days  :001:

Nah I donít believe in splashing cash out on the latest shiny toys! I only go and break them. I picked a nice, well maintained pre-sport model.  I would have been quite happy with a 955i actually, but couldnít find one in nice enough nick. I still regret selling my old 955i which was lovely, but I was pretty unwell, couldnít ride and we were moving house so she had to go.
