Triumph factory tour
on: 14 January, 2022, 06:38:58 PM
Did the factory tour today with my mate.
Not sure if its public knowledge..or old news.. but they are bringing the assy of ALL Triumph models for UK and Europe back to Hinckley,  they had 3 assembly lines building the speed triple, Tiger sport and 1200 tiger (i think), they have stripped those out and have 1 new assembly line of 5 cells so far with intelligent tooling which will build bikes to order from a complete kit of parts. So it wont be a line of the same bike anymore.
They will be expanding to 5 lines shortly and are recruiting for more staff.  :062:

They are also putting in a new area so they can double the production of crankshaft manufacture.
