It's always going to be tricky to lighten the pull without losing too much travel but here's a device that works for me. It's made from a piece of aluminium flat bar and adds about 12mm to the effective length of the operating lever. Engaging gear was always clunky and it's no different now and with correct adjustment hard acceleration doesn't produce clutch slip.

Nice. I'd been thinking of doing the same but after a few rides I'm doing okay with the clutch weight so no more issues. As Paul said, there's no free lunch. Easier pull, more travel, less adjustment.
