I only did a Scotland trip in 2020, not much at all this year, managed a few rallies in the last 2 months. Hopefully get a tour in next year. Thanks for some inspiration to get back to life as we knew it.

It wasn't all posh, stayed in a Hotel in Grenoble on the way back, heavens opened while we were there so we decided to eat at the Hotel, menu looked ok, if a little short on choice. I went for a Chicken dish and my mate, a veggie, opted for the mushroom risotto. Turned up  in what can only be described as a couple of goldfish bowl shaped jars, microwaved sh1te for 14.5 Euros.. 

And the road getting out of Grenoble is a proper pain.. 20mph, lights every 300 yards, we worked out, at least we thought we had, that if you exceed the 20mph the lights turn red and stop you.. took bloody ages to get up that road. We'll be avoiding it next year..

Ha, yes, been through Grenoble on a non m'way route once, scary place, never stayed there. Done the M'way a few times, from Calais to Beaune, then on to Castellane, do-able in 2 days. Beaune is a nice small town.
