I agree and will change the oil more often  :002: But the new final drive sprocket improved the clunky gear change, not the oil. Just to clarify the point  :152:

I change the oil by the book, every 10.000 km or at least once a year.

I'd ride even longer before a change, if I wasn't living in southern EU.

10k km with a filter, Full synth
07 Tiger 1050, K&N Air Filter, Snorkel Removed, Stock Exhaust, 20543 Map, NGK Iridium Plugs, Ricks R/R, Ohlins Rear Shock, Ohlins Front Springs, Bar End Mirrors, Leather Seat Cover, Ebay Levers, Ebay Risers, Custom Bars.

I currently use Motul 5100 semi-syn and change oil/filter every 5K.
Thinking about giving Penrite full syn a go and and changing at 10K. Do you use the full synthetic MC4ST from Repco?

Yes that's what I use, but I get it from supercheap Auto as I Think Repco does not sell the 15/50

Supercheap or repco, who ever has it on special. i use 15w-50 Full Synth PAO Ester.
