Steel horse cafe gone
on: 21 August, 2021, 09:19:33 AM
Bunch of us took a ride from the Offa's Dyke rally at Clyro, over to the Steel horse caff couple of years ago before covid, very busy place & good scran, some healthy stuff on menu. I now read it's closed, turned into a private house. Shame, I remember it being one of Timbox's favourite haunts.

Yep,sorry,  thought everyone knew. We now have Baffle Haus, https://baffleculture.com/pages/haus  not far from where Steel Horse was.  I was at Baffle Haus yesterday, I was only bike there, weather first thing yesterday was dire,  but I was out anyway having a new tyre fitted

Ayup Tim, thanks for that, I'll be in Brecon's for a few days in a couple of weeks, in-between the WW & Gloster rallies, I'll give that caff a try, looks good.

New tyre eh, the Tenere's getting some miles on then, obviously enjoying it. How's the KTM doing, I recall it'd gone in for repair or recall?

T7 has 6k miles after 7 weeks  :001:  KTM has finally gone, bloke in Lithuania sent a friend to collect it, 5 months but Fowlers finally fitted a new rear shock 3 weeks or so back.

Regarding Baffle Haus, just remember that they only open Thursday to Sunday at present

Baffle Haus any good? Tend to end up at the Old Railway at Tintern if I am in that direction.

By 'eckers, you are enjoyin the T7. Seen caff opening times, planning to call on way to meteor fest rally on the Thursday lunch. Hoping the Welsh rain will hold off for us, we're only taking our small tents.
