Dual horns
on: 18 August, 2021, 12:21:27 PM
2 is defiantly better than 1…. :002:

Just installed twin Hi / Lo horns

purchased from eBay $35 aud

Wired up with relay and SUPER LOUD!

Not the prettiest of locations, but I did not want them on my engine guards and no other option that is tucked away and semi protected from water ingress

I did paint them black with plasti dip and sealed the edges of the horns with clear silicone, as my previous horn failed due to water damage

They are located between my fog led lights and mounted onto the light bar, hard to see unless magnified…. :431:

Good move sealing them. I had similar and after a year of riding they deteriorated quite a lot so I ended up replacing with an air horn (which is brilliant  :001:)

Assume you have checked they will clear the fender if you bottom out the forks (or sorted the forks so they won't bottom out  :016:)

Where did you mount the air horn?

More space under the fairing than you think.

OP looking at the forks you have a chance of NOT punching the fender from a pothole, if the suspension compresses full stroke.
