I have used one for a few years, fine for comms between two people or sat nav/music/phone.
Can struggle with music and sat nav, but don't often mix functions as my use is normally just for me
Other bikes: 2010 Street Triple R,  ZXR 400 race bike for track days and Husqvarna FE350 for green lanes, a Husqvarna 701 Enduro for TET and a Yamaha TDR250 for investment fun

How loud and/or robust are the speakers? Over the years of attempting to alleviate boredom on long motorways, I have put speakers in the helmet, but at motorway speeds and with my ears full of earplug, it has been difficult to hear, resulting in prolonged loudness and subsequent short speaker life... I now utilise those made to suit earplugs with built in speakers - much better for music/satnav etc. - but they don't have the noise attenuation of a good foam earplug. So I would want a good robust speaker! I don't need to speak to my pillion too often...
