So now I have fitted my old short screen, from the 1050SE, to the TS. Turns out it can be done after all! If you remove the TS screen and then the screen mechanism (4 bolts), it becomes apparent that the winglets are screwed into the same holes that the screens used to be fixed to. I wish I'd realised before I gave my old MRA screen away...

Does look good. I wonder what those winglets cost to buy on their own?

    Cripes.. that's steep...

I think the short screen LOOKS better   :152: ... It doesn't give the noise reduction that I seemed to remember ( must be 9 months since I had it on my SE) but it does give me plenty of wind protection and suddenly, the chin vent on my helmet is chucking air in! It's fine for UK summers etc but the original screen will go back on in October. It's funny how psychologically, having less screen in front of you makes the bike seem smaller to ride and more like a bit of a streetfighter.

I find the standard screen to be noisy and as speed increases a lot of buffeting. Having come from a naked bike thought I try no screen which was great but looked rubbish. So went the short route but found a screen I thought would fit for £25 just to try it out. Obviously had to make new holes but really like it for the summer.

Also the shoei GT air is just noisy with this bike for some reason, borrowed my wife’s HJC and was quieter. Will probably change back to standard taller screen for winter.

I cannot use the GT Air on this bike. My Shoei Hornet and HJC RPHA-90 are both fine. The GT Air also collects wildlife and muck on it where the other 2 don't so the aerodynamics just don't work (for me) on this bike - even with different screens.
Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

This MRA T screen works for me, I only suffered noise, never buffeting. I have a Shoei GT air that I wear on my T800, gives good noise reduction on that bike, but not enough. I can wear my old Arai Axces on the TS with this screen, it's not so short but low 'cos it curves over towards me. Couldn't wear the Arai on the T800, far too noisy.

See in this pic for comparison with a std screen on the older Tiger.
