Hmm - that works well for me with the Puig touring screen and I also have one on the other bike. Did not make much defference for me on the OE screen. YMMV

I'm just about to try the deflector solution for the first time. I bought one last year that was over sized and was going to make fit however Fossil gave me one that's the right size that he had as a left over from his TS days.

They appear to vary from £14 - £80. At £14 it doesn't matter if it doesn't do the job, at £80 I'd be peed off if all I got was a bit of added fugliness.

I'm happy with my screen on the TS but struggling to improve the 800.

I used a short screen but got tired of getting bugs all over me and my helmet. My "normal" screen is an aftermarket screen that looks to be about 1" taller than the standard OEM Tiger 1050 screen, to which I added one of these - "Motorcycle Clear Windshield Spoiler Clip-On Deflector Screen Extender For Honda", https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/274405508810?hash=item3fe3d7c6ca:g:wB0AAOSwtvZcIZ-P and it works quite well for my height of 5'10". My purchase was from a local Australian seller, you can probably find a local seller where you are.

I went back to the short screen at the start of last summer, but swapped back before the day was out.
Bear in mind that the screen that the extender is attached to is slightly taller than the standard one.
The Chinese extender was less than 1/3 the price of the Puig when freight costs were added.

It's confusing, I know the smaller screen will be quite but I'll get wet and covered in bugs, or experiment with taller screens/attachments and have to pay for somthing that might or might not work. Hmmmm :084: I'll try a Chinese attachment first before the small screen.
