Beach run
on: 24 May, 2021, 02:01:37 AM
Finally had a chance to get together with a good friend for a run to the coast. Weather turned out close to perfect, just a tad cool in the morning so we didn't get started till 10am.  Headed west on Hwy 26, then south on Hwy 53 until it follows the Nehalem River into Nehalem Bay.  Then 101 south into Tillamook where we  stopped for lunch. Then Hwy 6 back through the mountains to home.  Not the longest of rides, but a good tune up since neither of us has done any real long rides since lock down.

Nice to see some blue sky & sunshine. We've had 2 weeks of rain & hail.
