Whoever came up with that should be beaten severely  :192:

I agree.   :169: It looks very porky and thick around the middle.   The paint scheme  :112:

The Tiger has made me a professional tire kicker.  :001: Nothing seems to measure up to the grunt of the 1050 triple and the spaciousness of the cockpit, for me.  I have ridden many of the competing brands - the S1000 XR, Multstrada 1200, Versys 1000 / 650, V Strom 1000 and the Explorer 1200 / Tiger 800..... and am still happy with my 14 year old / 31K Tiger.  A Tiger 1050 with all the modern doodads would be the ticket.
Know what you mean,  its a pity you didn't get the Sport in the US. Surprised no one has bought 1 over the border from Mexico  :187:
Yam RD125 DX, Kwak GPZ305, Honda CB400T, 1983 Kwak GT550, Suzuki GSF650 Bandit, Tiger 1050SE, 2019 Tiger Sport .... got there in the end.

:745: Aye, and border control would pull it to bits to check.

You won't find many modern bikes with that combination of colour and styling that works these days, unfortunately (or fortunately).

Took the Ninja 1000sx for a demo , unfortunately for me the riding position was a lot sportier than I had envisaged , I wouldn't be able to do 1500 miles in a week on it , my neck and shoulders wouldn't cope .
It was a shame everything else about the bike was great  .

I had Sprints for 20 years, tried sitting on one recently, no way.

Looking to change next year when the finance is finished on the car , I would like something with same or more upright riding position , no heavier than the Tiger 1050se , 825mms seat height max , similar or better power than the Tiger , hard luggage , not worried about brand , 12 to 13 grand , no older than 2 years .
