Same difference, mean little suckers. They will actually drop out of tree's into a boat traveling under said tree.  Want to see panic, put one of those in the same small boat as a couple people.
A buddy shot a hole in the bottom of his boat expensive mistake.

Talk about swapping risk. We'd avoid mines in SWA and Angola by 'bundu bashing' off-road to avoid sweeping (mines) every day or if we just needed to get to a RV quick. We had open back 'Buffel' vehicles. Every tree dumped either leaves, branches or snakes. No day was dull. I look back on that now as time of being incredibly alive.

You were obviously in the wrong unit. I had an XR500 (company vehicle :745:) and never took it anywhere near a road  :007:

SOaB. I got lucky later and did a stint on XR500's along the Swaziland border chasing 'car thieves'. May have been the the best time of my life. The rifle rack up front made mile-long wheelies easy. I lived a blessed life in hindsight. No regrets! I just wish I could weld... :-)

I must admit I was a prick back then. A Major (from mounted, wish I knew his name) pitched up for our first week. He had real skills. On a phukking BMW. He taught me how start my XR500 using my hand. And I had a Pro-Link 500 at home? Skilled man. Being young is such a curse....
