Cruise Control Automatically On

Heya Tiggers, excuse if it's been asked before. The factory cruise, is there a way to have it ON by default, rather than having to switch on after engine started?

Short answer is no. CC is turned off when you:

Pull in the clutch lever
Touch the brakes
Close the throttle

But setting the speed is a single button so having it on already would provide no real benefit.

Been a while since I used cc but IIRC you need to press the button twice?
Once to activate, once to set the speed.
Just a thought... OP is in the US, I didn't think FBW Tigers made it over there?

no hes not, hes in Australia.. you need to put yer specs on Dusty

yes I see seangee, I get how it engages/disengages with those things, like a normal CC, I'm referring to actually having the system on in ready mode by default one engine is started. I just know with my car CC is by default already on and to engage you just hit the set button. So it cuts out the one step to turn it on, its no biggie, just kinda makes sense to me. Unless I'm misunderstanding something elese?

Funny that, my new Co Car and the one before was the same, I also have to enable first, then set?  I reckon its down to safety, if you could engage with just one button press you might engage by accident ?, less of a problem in fact with the new car as it has radar and autonomous braking

My car & T800 same, my TS being 1st gen doesn't have this luxury. Only gets used when I go up to Scotland & through Belgium. That's only time I use motorways, wouldn't normally use them to go south in UK, too busy.

Must be great to have CC in Auzz or US with all their straight roads, bit dangerous though, could easy nod off.
