Thanks for the add to this group. Traded in my triumph thunderbird for a 2007 tiger 1050 at the end of last year. I managed to get a few short runs in before the cold and icy roads took some of the pleasure out of it. I love the bike but the I have changed the screen for a second hand Madstad. I havenít been able to get out on it to try different settings but hopefully it will make a difference. I have used the givi airflow on a few previous bikes and I have always been pleased with the difference they make. When looking for one for this bike it seemed that they only fit the sport version. Does anyone know if they fit the older 1050 as well. Just in case the madstad system, which is a bit ugly doesnít work. Many thanks.

The Madstad is pretty fugly but most sing it's praises, be aware that there have been a few cases of cracked fairings with the Madstad I guess because of the weight with the large screen,
there are a few who have made supports which link the screen mount to the inner fairing panels maybe someone will post a link
can't comment on the Givi but I had good results with MRA and x-screen as it's multi adjustable

I'm a Madstad believer.  It's not beautiful but I am used to how it looks, and it really gets the job done perfectly for my preferences.  I've ridden with stock, MRA with X-Screen, and the Madstad.  Never the Givi. I am one of several who made braces for my Madstad.  Even though I have it set low, it had sheared off the pin inside the nose, and eventually could have broken my nose cone as it has for some others.  Here's a link.  https://www.tiger1050.com/index.php/topic,36054.0.html

Screens for the Tiger 1050 and the Tiger Sport Mk 1 (2013-2014) are interchangeable. But not for the Tiger Sport from 2016 on (the RBW version) - the mountings are a bit more complicated.
