My lovely wife gave me probably the best Christmas presents this year ... no it wasn't that type of present  :007:

Did any of you get a great Xmas present this year from your lovely other half.?  :031:

I got the best present ever ............ Getting to spend Christmas with family and friends with out being in lock down
All are well and healthy and still employed

I am the only casualty of Covid being that I lost my job due to a downturn in trade for my employer and being injured whilst at work I got terminated

New year just around the corner so hopefully new opportunities and a way forward

Have a great new years eve people drink and be merry and be grateful for the small things

Yes, i totally agree... spending Christmas with your loved ones is 100% better than any  xmas present with all thats happening in the world in the last year.
Like many of us in the UK we couldnt spend xmas day with our son & family as they were in lockdown also my wife is a care worker who is one of only a handful of staff where she works who has not caught covid in the past 3 weeks, so we wouldnt have put them at risk for 1 day of a xmas get together.

Luckily all of us are fit and well at the moment & thankfully in gainful employment.. but not counting our chickens just yet  :110:

anyway.. enough of the doom & gloom from me..

I wish all of you a Happy New Year & hope you are all still around this time next year to exchange xmas & new year greetings..  :031:

I received a home-made Christmas pud which, because I'm unable to join the rest of the family, I'm having to eat all by myself. Sigh, life is so hard sometimes ......  :019:

Too many keeping schtum about their pressies here. I rec'n the quiet ones must have had a home knitted Crimbo ganzey, ya know the sort with a fancy pattern, one arm longer than tutha. C'mon own up who got the old Crimbo favourite? Or was it the boring old diamond patterned socks?
