Hi Tigermike, yes, thanks for the message. But TBH, I'm not going to do anything about it just yet. Latest Covid-19 lockdown over Christmas is so appalling that it's hard to see that far ahead. I'm beginning to wonder if, not when, we'll ever escape from this bloody virus.

Added to that I'm not sure where I'll be living, and don't even know what bikes I'll still have then (because I have to lose at least one). So I'm afraid future planning at the mo is like looking into a crystal ball ...  :087:

Hi Guys, Hope you had a good xmas and are all well!   Just to let you know, Castle Combe has some dates up for trackdays. Ive booked 3 to get me started and see how i go? Maybe see some of you there?   Im really looking forward to it as ive had my suspension upgraded and have  recently found out i can have an airbag vest with my pacemaker :028:  Bit of a bonus really as i discovered wet grass is really slippery at the last t day when i ran out of tarmac. :005: :008:

Hope you get one sorted then ok🤞  Donít worry about using a different bike on the day tho if you have too!  I had my S1000R listed  for 3 days but when we were finally allowed to go I had the ZX6R  ready to ride!

Back on track.. (no pun intended)  :001:

Suspension sorted last year, it is well documented on here somewhere. Had the bike at Alpha Suspension last week in Leeds, for a set up, the man's a magician.. he fiddles, pulls, presses, has me sat on the bike etc. makes notes and talks to you about what you're experiencing when riding and cornering. Anyhows, when he was done I was £40 lighter, it's a ride in ride out service that, in my opinion, is worth every penny.  :028:

Bike feels more balanced and less harsh over the bumps but the heavens opened on my ride home so didn't have a chance to check it out fully.

He did say, that he thought there wasn't enough adjustment with the rebound screw, something I need to talk to Brooks Suspension about as they fitted the K-tech valves. He said without a little more backing off he couldn't do a 100% job, I accepted this, paid him to continue and I will see how it goes.

New BT023's going on today in preparation for the track day on the 1st Sept, hopefully I'll get a shakedown ride before then..  :001:

Sounds good Windy  :152:
i am nearly ready too with my TS, new tyres BT32's a couple of weeks ago, nicely worn in now and changed the front pads as they were down to about 2mm wear left - fitted EBC HH pads.

just got an oil & filter change to do as she has just tipped over the 7000 mile mark (they did an oil change at 1800 miles when i bought it.)

looking forward to the 1st September, me & Yellow Dog are staying local the night before as its a fair drive to Cadwell park from our neck of the woods.
Just praying for a dry day  :440:  :158:
