Hello from New Zealand
on: 29 November, 2020, 05:19:16 AM
Pegasus Tiger introducing my self and fumbling around this forum. I have no idea what a virtual drink is. Just bought a Triumph Tiger 1050. This follows a visit to a local motorbike museum where the owner has his 1050. (This guy has won multiple National motorbike racing titles). It was the most beautiful bike I had ever seen and I had to have one. After a 40 year hiatus I bought myself a Vstrom 650 and after 6 years and 54,000 k's I got the Tiger. I am an older retired guy and live beside the lake at Pegasus Village in the South Island of New Zealand. I like long distance riding especially overnight camping trips.
I belong to and ride with the Ulysses Club a motorbike club for older riders.

Lots of great rides around South Island. Some of those unmarked newly tar sealed bends can be challending  :005:

Have you worked out what mods your new ride has already had?

How about a photo or two to show us it wasn't just a dream?

I also went from a Vstrom 650 to the Tiger. Helluva difference eh?   :123:

Love to see some pics of your neighborhood once you figure out to post them.

Welcome from the wet windy Waikato ( well lately anyways )

I have no doubt you will enjoy your new ride more than you think
These are possibly the perfect bike for SPORT touring around our bumpy narrow goat tracks we call roads

Plenty of great info within these pages along with a sprinkle of sarcasm and humour with next to no bitching  great place
