VHT ceramic coating primer and hi temp ceramic paint

It was a 12 hr job!

A lot of time waiting between the coats to dry and heat cycle curing time.  Getting the headers back onto the bike without scratching was tedious as I only removed one side of the oil cooler and engine guard.



I suspect it won’t stay tidy for long and the next best thing would really be to get them professionally ceramic painted if possible, or replace with new ones...

i bet it was a struggle, be interesting to see how many miles you get before the paint is chipped & scratched. 
dont think there any new sets of headers around any more, all the ones i have seen on ebay have looked in worse condition than yours before you started cleaning..
