Denali Split Bomb horn
on: 08 November, 2020, 08:38:29 PM
Being paranoid about drivers pulling out in front of me, in addition to the Denali D2 LEDs driving lights, I replaced the pathetic OEM horn which must have come from a child's toy.  :151:
I chose the Denali Split Bomb and wow; it would raise the dead! I've frightened a few would-be SMYDSYs into submission already.

The horn is in the original mounting position with the aid of a home-made bracket:

..and the compressor is attached by a stout bracket to the front engine mounting bolt

Looks like a clean install.  I've heard these and they are indeed LOUD!

Neat, does it need a relay?

Yes. Basically its an air horn in 2 pieces (so you can fit each piece in a smaller gap) with a hose between them.
Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
