I ride with first and second fingers only on the brake lever near the pivot which helps to avoid overbraking but even then the front end can nosedive easily especially at low speed.

Are different pads available anyone?

Are the brakes better on later models? My '14 brakes feel about right with HH pads, certainly not a one or two finger job. I don't have any snatch, could that be the discs?

I only fitted ebc HH pads to try stronger braking, I have a set of oem ready for when they wear out. You braking with one/two finger pull don't need better or stronger. Snatchy braking is often associated with warped discs. Check with DTI.

Thanks Paul but discs are true, parallel and not scored or worn. It's been like this since new and I'm used to it but every now and then it catches me out.  :430:
