Newbie
« on: 20 September, 2020, 08:09:06 AM »
Morning all, newbie here from S.E.London, just sold my BMW R1100S after too many complaints from my knees. I've decided that a Tiger 1050 is my next ride. So I'm on the look out for one :001:
I'm a young at heart, old in body 57 yrs old. Had a bike since I was 16.

My budget is towards the bottom end of the market, 3K
I now commute to central London every day.

Looking forward to learning lots off you guys

Oh and my user name is Sliverslop as I actually had a letter addressed to me as a Mr Sliverslop a few years ago :745: :745:

Am now a very happy Tiger owner even though I rode it home today a 100 miles in the most miserable weather, 100% wet, everywhere........

Am very impressed so far, its the most confident I've felt in the rain since, since actually ever I think. I'm 6'3" and bloody hell aint it high :001:
I look forward to learning lots from you lot
