Hello from sunny Stoke!
« on: 07 July, 2020, 07:15:41 PM »
Hi guys, nice to know youre here.
Looking at  purchasing an 09 plate with 30k on it. Anything I need to know?  Is this a particularly high mileage for this engine or will they run forever?
Got fsh and looking tidy.  Never had a triumph or this style of bike but think its gorgeous.  Its the tiger or a street triple!

:405: Wilf, no not high mileage, I'm on 77000 miles now and one of the guys in the US has 180 k on his.
Recommend you fit a 14 series battery if it hasn't got one already.
Whatever your choice of bike, welcome  :031:

 :401: WILF
(hopefully not an acronym  :007: )

FSH is a very good start. Try and find out the previous owners handle on this page so you can really check its history out  :152:

Just so long as it's not a white one, you should be fine  :010:

Once you have ridden both bikes, there will be no comparison and you'll know which one fits like a glove  :038:

Give us the reg. number - may be from someone on here! May even be my old bike if it's the matt black and grey one! If it is, has lots of electronic farkles.
