Stepper Motor cleaning process

Hi

I think I have an issue with my stepper motor what is the best way to clean it please?

It's been a while, thought the service manual had a replacement and checkout section on that..  Down load the manual will come in handy later.

Thanks I get onto that. I think the issue was the battery voltage after all, I changed the battery for a new one and all seemed to be ok.
