Ride to Bognor Regis for Fish n Chips
« on: 29 May, 2020, 09:38:15 PM »
Met my mate in Marlow lunchtime and we rode down to Bognor, took mostly A and B roads,  went via Bracknell,  Guildford and the south downs.
Ended up on a beach just past the Butlins holiday park.

My tiger and ZX7R

Had a nice bit of fish n chips  :152:

Stayed there for an hour then took a different route back past Ford open prison, Arundel castle and then back via Guildford to High Wycombe then back to Banbury.
239 miles total. A great afternoons riding  :123:
Even had a quick walk on the pebble beach.. sea looked lovely  :008:

Yam RD125 DX, Kwak GPZ305, Honda CB400T, 1983 Kwak GT550, Suzuki GSF650 Bandit, Tiger 1050SE .... got there in the end.

Bognor Regis - Had to look it up see where it was, never been, have been all around that area some years back when we used to go to the South Hants tomcc rallies, they've not held one for many years now. You boys had a grand ride out, fish & chips and ice creams + got some miles in. Doesn't look busy there, heaving here in the Peaks.
The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions.

Yes, been a long time since I was in Bognor Regis too, my parents took me to the Butlins holiday camp when I was 5 or 6 (1971 or 1972) my dad drove us there from Norfolk I think in a Ford Popular. . We all went to  the Butlins in Pwlllheli the following year and I ended up getting lost ...Ended up in the lost children area for an hour or so.. seemed like an eternity at that age  :019:

:008: I can see your jealous TCC of the great weather we are having, did you insert the storm in the background fom a photo you took in Oz yesterday now it's winter there  :004:
Nice job with the photo shopping though..

Although I was never that much into sportbikes I always liked the look of them, even more so the early ones with the Hoover pipes :001:

Thanks both, yes he bought the bike about 2 years ago and has done a lot of work to it, it runs really well now.
I am just waiting for a chance of a go on it but he's a bit protective  :001:
