FrontRanger
« on: 20 May, 2020, 03:39:29 AM »
Just bought a 2010 Tiger 1050 today with 32K. Read the newbie stuff and will occupy the garage this weekend changing all the fluids and observing all the tests of the 12K Maint. On my way to Colorado with my DR and a smile (and now a Tiger) to ride the trails and swoop the curves into retirement. Adventure Before Dementia! Thanks for standing this up and keeping it running until I could afford to be a member of the Triumph club!

:401: took a pretty good ride around your state and some others nearby last fall. I am envious of your location.  Congrats on your new Tiger!

As asked, some photos of what my wife brought home for me...2010, 32.4K mi

I am pledging now to turn this into a mild Adventure bike. I have already purchased a set of Pirelli MT60R for Colorado. I will purchase the SW Motech "Skid Plate" (and attempt to make my own) unless anyone has a better one than that or the plastic plow. I will stop by Wally's in Denver and inquire as to the front end wheelbuilding options. I am open to any and all Offroad talk about the 1050 platform (about which I know nothing other than it should not be used offroad). Thanks!

Well your 'Adventure before Dementia' Tiger is quite well kitted out  :028:
Touring screen, crash bars, aftermarket foot pegs, Arrow end can & a decent set of luggage, just needs some hand guards  :152:

TigerMike,

that's what I thought too. I would appreciate any interesting suggestions/feedback about: Oil, Oil Filter, Fuel type, Tires, Stator Power delivery (i have no outlets other than underseat heated vest connector), and Headlamp power increases.

Thanks,
