Dream Bike
« on: 19 May, 2020, 09:47:30 PM »
Greetings!

I recently moved down to the Willamette Valley in Oregon from SE Alaska. I rode my KLR down and quickly realized I needed something faster on the highway. It's always been a dream to own a Triumph so when this one popped up on CL I grabbed it. I still enjoy the KLR, it's just different! So far I've added Vortex levers, a brake modulator and Givi luggage. I also have a Delkevic silencer on order.

I'm glad to be here! PS, sorry about the finger in the corner -- I'm a boomer!

Welcome! Looks like you got a good one, well appointed and clean, and certainly the best color. What year and how many miles? I haven't been in your neck of the woods, so I look forward to hearing and seeing ride reports with many pictures.

Nice Tiger - congrats!  I have a Delkevic tri-oval pipe on mine and it is great.  Good looking, low cost, nice fit n finish, excellent sound, 7 or 8 lb. lighter than stock.  What's not to like?

Same year as yours! "08 with 16,000 miles. When I got it the tires had squared off. New tires are a revelation. So fun to ride.
