The boss in my first job was from Norfolk. He was proud of it too, had a map of the UK centred on the county on the wall in his office. Trouble is we all disliked him intensely  - bit of a pompous a*se. So one week when he was away, couple of guys went and cut out Norfolk from the map, replaced it with another area of the UK carefully making sure the roads lined up at the edges, then replaced it on his wall. He didn't notice for about 2 weeks, then was very quiet for another couple of weeks after that. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when he went looking for a town on the map.  :001:

Like our Wildboarclough but said "Wilbercluff". And Onecote but said "Oncot". A chum thought it was owned by Dulux.

In Earl Sterndale, the local scallies have defaced the village sign to spell as said "ARL STERNDA".

just to be clear, the most important thing is for the forks to work smoothly, without ant stiction caused by forcing the fork leg in or out before tightening the pinch bolts. Mine has had uneven clearance since day one, and at 180k miles, no issues. If you force it, you will wear out the bushings and chrome on the leg.

:0461:  Hence why the manual has you pump the forks prior to tightening the pinch bolts.
