Tiger 1050 Top Box, Rack, etc.
« on: 10 May, 2020, 04:05:36 AM »
I still have a Triumph Tiger 1050 top box (orange infill panel), and sliding rear rack, both in excellent condition; a stack of windshields, including both sizes of Zero Gravity, a stock windshield and a Triumph touring windshield; and a set of stock tiger shocks with exactly zero miles on them... if your old boingers need a cheap renewal.
So there's a pandemic on, and I'm bored as hell. make me an offer. :012:
I need the shelf space and it just seems sinful to chuck it into the recycle bin...

If you haven't already, try PM'ing him. If he doesn't reply, let me know. I have his number.   And he's also a former instructor.  And a really good guy.  :028:

Would you be able to send me any pics of the windscreens that you have and are looking to sell? Also what are you looking to sell the stock shock for?

someone has resurrected this post and no one seems to have answered your question
the rear rack mounting frame is solid mounted but the actual flat plate which the top box attaches to is "loose" as in the top box and mounting plate is allowed to "float" for a better word or oscillate side to side
(this is also the case with the panniers)
Supposed to help stability by reducing the effect of turbulence,
Yes it would fit a 2007 thru to 2013 which was the last of the original 1050, it then became the Sport which  had a different back end and panniers
