Short screen
« on: 26 March, 2020, 03:18:22 PM »
So been away from the forum for a few years, playing with a Speed for a bit, but came back to the Tiger sport January this year, although it has an adjustable screen still get a lot of windblast so instead of increasing the screen height has any one put a small cowl like screen on theirs? Sort of making it a naked version if that makes sense?
Apart from that its such a great bike for distance and comfort, but whether I will ever use the sat nav that came with it only time will tell.
So any help greatly appreciated. :001:

Yes, I fitted the PB sport adv screen, it stopped the noise but I got wet. So fitted a MRA T screen.

I've got a small screen (like the one Paul mentioned) which I use in the summer as it's loads better with regard to turbulence and noise but change to MRA Vario for the the wetter times of year.

On my 2018 TS I have fitted the MRA "spoiler" thing to the standard screen, but kept the standard screen on it's the lowest setting & seems to work well with almost no buffering. I only fitted the spoiler as I had one from removed from my old tiger, but works well enough I've stuck with it.  :001:

Also have the MRA X-creen (spoiler thingie) on my std screen. Seems to work well, unless you're 6'1" or more.

I'm 5'10" and find the Puig touring screen with the integrated spoiler on the lowest setting spot on for me.

Further update brought the PB screen as a trial and see what happens from here, most of my riding is A and B roads as we don't have a motorway down here, and the twistie's here in Cornwall are more fun too. :001: :005: :008:

If it doesn't work for me watch the spares section  :002:
