Ridiculously Wide Panniers

I've never hidden my disdain for stupidly wide panniers. This Hepco & Becker set are on a Speed Triple.

Whats new? Harley have being selling two-wheeled cars for years. Logic is always trumped by disestablishmentarianism....

The ST955i panniers were inside the mirror lines & would easily take a full face helmet in each side. The top box would take 2 helmets & summer jackets.

WTF went wrong with Triumph pannier/topbox design? They've not designed decent kit since 2004.

The panniers on the TS are 1100mm wide, huge outside & small inside, a helmet will fit in the lhs one but nothing else.
