The KTM 390 Adventure looks a good fun bike for the back lanes in the countryside.....If we ever get out there again.

Sat on one at the show, quite comfy, and Ive had a 390 Duke for a day as a courtesy bike, engine really surprised me in a good way, feels far more than its 44hp suggests

Yes, the quoted power looks good & KTM's are generally quick, but this review says top speed 93mph. That sounds poor for 44bhp. I would have expected more like 105mph, to give a comfy 75mph cruising speed. It is ok'ish for size of motor.

Yes, also enjoyed reading about the new 390. But from that started looking at the Kwak Versys 650 (for when the TS gets too heavy for me ...).

Funnily enough the 390 Duke I had was still running in and the rev counter kept flashing at me saying I was over revving so never pushed it. Guy at the Dealer did say though best he had seen was 97 so sounds about right given the adventures slight higher weight and aerodynamics. Probably better suited to A and B roads I grant you
