The 800 would be a much better choice is your looking at doing anything more off road than sleeping policeman in Tesco carpark   :008:
I'm steering clear of all speed humps now, after an off at the start of the year on my bicycle would you believe, and in the grounds of a hospital! Cause - an unlit, unmarked speed hump in the hospital grounds, and I was in a hurry and didn't see it.

Fortunately was scraped off the road by 3 doctors no less. Black eye and aching ribs all over again. But what's annoying is that I think nothing of riding over humps, kerbstones, steps, whatever, when I can see them and prepared for it. Think I must have hit this one at an angle.

Keen cyclist told me afterwards that front suspension is good! Hrumph .....  :232:

You have a great dirt bike. You could also have a great road bike, lookout  for a '11 or '12 Tiger 1050 SE. The grunt is world apart from the T800, that is the nimble one.

Thanks Paul!  I started thinking about that last night.  Need to ride both for comparison.
